This week we saw some moderate shifting in the top ten but nothing too major, the bottom half also stayed pretty much the same. Tampa Bay dropped out of the top ten due to six straight losses and getting swept in a four game set by the Tigers, who moved up two spots after six straight wins. The Dodgers fell due to a 6-4 record in the last ten games and the winning streaks of the Cards, Red Sox and Angels. The Giants moved into the top ten with a seven and three record in their last seven games. The Washinton Nationals, one of five teams to be eliminated from playoff contention already, are aiming for the coveted 100 loss title, of course they won’t beat the record of 119, but try again next year.
